There are so much need to consider before move in, especially with the layout, I guess most people spend the most time shopping for furniture, for living room, kitchen, bedroom etc.
But you still find out the room looks empty even the furniture is placed as planned.
Why? Seems like something is wrong, something is missed.
And you found the reason: Decors are missing!
The table looks bare. The coffee table feels lonely. Even the kitchen counter seems to be waiting for... something. That's when it hits you: you forgot the decor. Vases, picture frames, throw blankets, fresh flowers—all those little things that turn a house into a home.

What's the best décor ideas for a dining table?
What kind of decorative object would be best for the side table?
Should I place a bottle of floral arrangement or something else?
For different space decoration, you feel overwhelming? It might be a little complicated if we are not that professional as interior designers.
Don't worry. As a design team with five years of experience in home styling, we've helped many people answer exactly these questions. This guide cuts through the confusion—room by room, with clear reasons why.
Step 1: Sketch it out
Grab a piece of paper and a pen—borrow your kid's crayon if that's what's handy. No need for a perfect floor plan; just sketch your layout and label these key areas:
Entryway
Kitchen
Living Room
Dining Room
Bedroom
Bathroom
Sunroom (if you have one)
Step 2. Mark the space you want to decor.
The more space you want to add decor, the more the money you need to spend. The best way to save is to target the most importand place so you don't spend extra money compared with previous budget.
Step 3: Decided what kind of decors you need.
Floor and wall really important. That's the foundation of your design.
The color combination of the walls and floors dictates the choices we make for accessories; the palette should be consistent and harmonious—such as brown and beige—rather than consisting of two completely clashing colors that are jarring to the eye.

Step 4: Room by room advises.
Entry | Entry should feel impressed.
As for entry, you always display with a bench, decorating with vase and flowers and artworks.
Tips: greenery are the best for entry, which creates and organic feeling. Your entryway is the handshake of your home. It sets the tone before anyone steps further inside.
Kitchen | just be simple. Less is more.
We recommend place a glass of green branches in the center piece. Greenery creates an instant "organic" feel that makes guests feel at ease. The shape and the length depend on how big is your counter.
Big counter wide than 6 feet, long stems are better. Try glass or crystal vase and some long stem leaves.
Small counter wide less than 5 feet, round and oval shape vase with flowers is better. Try porcelain and glass vase. Adding some plate like fruits or salad bowl.
It always match no matter what's the color of your home. Remember always use minimum color for a modern vibe, you don't want your kitchen looks like a mess.
Living room | Go Bold, Be You
Here comes the centerpiece of your home.
The place shows your taste, spend times with your family or loved ones. There is not such a rule for how it should be look like, because you are the boss.
Just pick whatever you like.
But general we have some ideas for you:
Normal side of the couch place with an end table, having small vase and flowers, this should be an accent color for the whole space, its lightning the room.

For small apartment, keep the living room simple. Adding an end table, on top of that add small plant if you want some fresh green.
For traditional used living room your family room, that means you have a relatively big living space, decors on the coffee table is the center piece of your idea spot.
For big villa, just show your taste of fashion without any hesitation, adding console stand, end tables in accent chair. A well design fashion flower arrangement is definitely perfect your you. A bold flower arrangement is recommended. It’s the way to impress your guest, showing your taste of art.
Dining room | Make Every Meal Feel Special
Have you ever noticed that nice restaurants always have flowers on the table? There's a reason.
When you host a family dinner, have a beautiful floral arrangement in the table will make the meals more delicious. That’s the reason why we are so obsessed with places dinner table, it is about the little happiness in our life.

Tips for floral arrangement: try not cover the guests view, a wide and low height shape will be much better.
Bedroom | Soft and Gentle
The bedroom is for rest and calm. Just keep it quiet place where you can release pressure.
Honestly, we do not recommend more decors for bedroom. The space can be small if it is too much decors. Adding some books you like, a great reading light will be better, you need to get more sleep for better tomorrow. And some candles for smell is more important than decoration items.
We are not influencers, we just want have a good rest.
Bathroom | less maintain.
Use a few bottle of flowers that doesn't get wet and no need to maintain.
Place on the top of cabinets.
Place one or two dried stems, cotton bolls, or high-quality faux flowers in a small ceramic or frosted glass vase on the countertop or shelf.
Sunroom | Choose Durability Over Delicacy
If you're lucky enough to have a sunroom, enjoy the light—but be mindful. Sunlight is beautiful, but it fades colors and dries out fresh flowers fast.
Go for dried pampas grass, eucalyptus wreaths, or UV-protected faux flowers that won't fade under strong light.
Fresh blooms can wilt within days in direct sun. Dried and UV-safe materials, on the other hand, stay beautiful for months—or even years. Just dust them off with a feather duster now and then, and they'll keep shining.
These are our suggestions—not strict rules. Every home is different, and your personal taste is what makes your space truly feel like you.
Wish you have a good day.
